For our xmas lunch we wanted a easy day and the best dining experience has to be the Kathmandu and its the lunch club’s favorite!!!!
We started of at our usual start bar guinns which is well kitted and we get looked after here around 1pm
We squared up the bills and headed a stone throw away to our reservation for 2.30pm and like clockwork the drinks menu and starters pop up like magic!
We went for a good red id highly recommended this it pairs fantastic with curry and well priced.
We didnt have a wait time and i went for a nepalese sizzling dish – the safari!
It’s absolutely fantastic, amazing flavours! I got hot sauce!! Lisa had a chiken tikka sizzler which she got mild and i tried some of hers it was fantastic! Busting in flavours sizzling hot!
The crew was more than happy and the bills where separated professionally like everything else kathmandu do!! No complaints again another fantastic meal.
Last man standing we headed up to new irish jims for last man standing – great laugh and some hit the pool table and we had a good few well priced beers!
The group started splitting and we picked up some wine and carried in drinking in the heart of the calvario and had to head home before i fell asleep sleep!
Your looking around 30 euro a head which is nothing! For this quality of food you cant complain its a fantastic price!!!
