Recently our good friend Tommy from piano piano took Ill and ended up in hospital in a serious condition. Luckily enough he has got through and now back in the restaurant. I came up with a plan to help fundraise a little extra money to help towards the month they lost money. I supplied and cooked sous vide loin pork fillets and special fried rice which went down a treat and collected donations for the day and in total we raised 550 which ain’t bad at all! Thank you to the venues who donated and thank you to the lunch club members who was involved and made donations and came and supported the day.
We started the day in the Scandinavian bar with high numbers and I went over for 2pm to chef for the crew heading over for 2.30pm we served up the sous vide pork and half chickens for 25 people. We had great feedback and people commented the chicken was tender and juicy! One of the club members said they had been here two months and the sous vide pork was the best they had eaten since they have been here! So very positive comments!
We had the food then ran the auctions and presented Tommy and marina.
I made a small speech along with Lowell who made a great speech thank you for this. We moved into vanilla to finish up the day.
Thank you so much everybody.
