Wow what can i say one of the best mondays ive had in age!! We had a fantastic day central with lunch club long term favorite bars and restaurants and we partied hard till VERY late!
So we started in the best meet place central Guinns around 6.30pm and our table was set go!
They have very good service in Guinns and the bar is open the whole day so ideal meet place, plus the staff are very friendly and you can have a good laugh with them and the prices are good plus they have attick craft beer so they win! We have been using Guinns since before we lived here and it’s probably the most used venue for the lunch club!
So we moved on for our 7.30pm reservation to El Torro Azul another top lunch club favourite again we be eating here long before we lived in spain and the lunch club visit this restaurant regularly! We get star treatment here! The table was set ready to rumble!
The wine menu started flowing and we got the fresh bread and butter while waiting which is always fab!
We was going for a steak and rich chicken dish so they selected our favorite limited edition red wine.
Absolutely of the scale and the food started flowing out nicely! A massive variety of food and it just flowed out nicely i was the last to get served and wasnt it worth the wait!
Absolutely cooked to perfection fat Argentinian steak with a pokey rich pepper corn sauce and to top it off with pimientos de Padrón and my favourite spanish potatoes – heaven sent absolutely fantastic! The food was good, the vibe was good, the service was good and they seperated the bills at the end and gave us some complimentary shots!! Yes this was a winner looking forward to returning with the crew! We paid up and headed off for last man standing in Pub Branigans.
Again a long term lunch club favorite and we been using branigans long before we moved here! We usually use branigans for our finishing bar and get relaxed and have a good laugh here! Friendly staff, great music videos plus well priced and great craft beers!
The icing on the cake we got settled down outside and had a good time one of the best ive had in ages was so much fun im sure everyone will agree!
We drank till late and a handful wandered of us wandered up to the casino for some real kick ass drinking! Baileys, shots, wines, beers you name it we did it!!
Absolutely off the scale day getting back to our routes and enjoying and supporting long term lunch club long term favourite venues and friends we be back soon!!..
