A total change of scene this week was fun! We kicked off around 6.30pm in Pueblo Blanco at Havana which is fantastic for wine and cocktails and lovely scenery and vibe of the Pueblo Blanco. The wine and the service here is fantastic plus well priced one if the bars we highly recommended!
The staff are very professional and just separate up the bill with out a problem as its so easy to do! Oh and christinas ginger cocktail looked fab!!
We moved in down to El Gato which isnt far at all! The table was set and we had one drop so we made changes before the crew starting arriving.
The menus was straight out the wine menus as well which i asked to look at on reservations communication but they said they didnt have one on the message and show us when we arrive which was a bit odd! Any way all other commutation was good for the booking. Out came menus and wine!
They took the food order which i was still trying to make up my mind to the last second as the menu has some fantastic dishes to choose from! I had to go for the Indonesian chicken curry which is marked as a customer favorite on the menu.
All the dishes where fantastic and well presented i think we had one problem with a cod dish as the english cod is straight where some cod specially in spain is rammed with salt which is to preserve when they bring it in but still everyone was more than happy the service was fun, happy and although at first said they couldnt split the bill we twisted there are and they did it like true professionals! The food and wine and service and restaurant vibe is fantastic in El Gato we highly recommend! We moved on next door to lunch club favorite piano piano for a cheeky last man standing!
This is always the icing on the cake a few laughs, few drinks and few shots! Great to catch up with tommy and marina and have a good laugh before heading home!
There are some fantastic venues on calle casa blanca and el gato and piano piano are highly recommend by the torremolinos lunch club!
