Absolutely off the scale day although the last minute change of food venue which was resolved very quickly we had a fantastic day in the Kathmandu!
We started the day around 1pm in guinns central as always top service and reserved tables setup it makes the start of the day a breeze! Thank you bryan and the crew for star treatment!
Guinns has a fantastic selection of craft beers and one of the best beers brewed local – smile great way to start the day with a good IPA 🍺
We headed over to chino playa and we found our reserved table we think! They forgot to set it last time as well! So we got sat down adding a extra chair and they came for the orders where we stated we separate the bills she said she cant so i told her we do this every time we come! So i approached the young lad who confirmed they cant do 7 bills and couldn’t explain why they did in the past!! So we decided to change to a more professional restaurant who can do this and everyone said the same KATHMANDU!!!! This is without doubt a very professional restaurant and can handle anything! And a 3 minute walk its a no brainer! The kathmandu restaurant was full and they sprung us two tables with no issues.
The wine came out fast as well as the starters, popadoms and dips and i went for a different crianza this time which was hinted with oak and very well rounded off!
The food didnt take long to arrive considering the restaurant was pretty full and i went for a prawn and lamb achari which ive not had for a while it was absolutely off the scale with a hot sauce.
Everyone was more than happy and for a quick change we have to give the Kathmandu 12 out of ten their professionalism makes them shine! we payed our split bills and headed over to mikeys bar for last man standing.
We had a good laugh and a shot, thank you mikey for looking after us! The group split and a handful of us it pub Branigans to see the night in! Catch up with some friends and some cool new people!
Have to say the tres monos is one of my favorite craft beers and its brewed in malaga. Dirty harry is great.
Again another seamless fantastic day despite chino playa loosing trade due to laziness! Kathmandu win!
We had quite a lot of people saying we should separate the bills ourselves and they dont do seperate bills in spain! For one most of these people who are writing on my social media i dont know so just general nosey busy bosdies and also most of them live in britain so so dont have a clue!!! We run the lunch club every week and have done for nearly nine years! We visit different restaurants and bars and they split the bills in every one every week so im afraid you should get your facts right. Why would we want to start working out bills for when we are out to socialise, drink and eat! You think we want to start working for the restaurant doing there job working out bills when they already do it for us every week. Im a great believer in getting my facts right before giving advice that is to be honest wrong and useless.
We will carry on as we have done each week visiting various restaurants getting our bill separated by the restaurant as we do every week! If you have any doubt read the reviews it states on these the places that have and havent split the bills then you can see how wrong you really are!!
