Great evening central torremolinos in two new venues for the lunch club.
We started the night in Cervecería Twister and had a few choice craft beers. Well priced and great location and fantastic owners. The group rounded up and we headed a stone throw away to garu a new Spanish restaurant for the crew! Panic! The 7.30 table reservation wasnt set and this just sets alarm bells straight away! So they started prepping the tables and we ordered a bottle of red which was a yllera that we like!
We went for the sharing platter which was well priced at €16 for two people. Bargain!
We decided to add the small gambas pil pil which was 4€ to round our food bill of to 20€ the gambas pil pil was pretty much bang on!
Despite the tables not being ready the food was good not bad service saying there was like 20 with no pre order it didnt to long to get it all out everyone seemed happy! Id say go give garu a go friendly staff and the sharing platter is very good value!
