A great evening in central Torremolinos!
We met around 6.30pm at 20 de cañas for well priced pre late lunch drinks!
The club had all arrived by 7pm and we set about the well priced drink and met lots of new members, fantastic people!
We had a good chat and laugh and moved onto the reservation at the taberna 1830.
Our reservation table was set out perfect and we was presented with wine menus and food menus which is fantastic!
We asked if we could split the bills and this was no problem, lunch club winner!
I asked recommendations for red wines and was recommended a fantastic red id never had before and it was amazing so some of the other crew went for this as well!
Considering we didnt pre order the food started flowing out with not much of a wait which was fantastic! The quality of the food was amazing and the portions have to be the best ive seen! There was lots of wows going on!
I went for the medium rare fillet steak ?
Absolutely fantastic massive steak, tender and cooked to perfection.
Id highly recommend the tuna and the lamb.
I have to say the food quality, price, service and portions at taberna 1830 are on another level the restaurant is well sized and very comfortable.

The restaurant gave me and lisa a complimentary bottle of wine for bringing in the crew which is rare nowadays to show appreciation, so thank you we highly appreciate and recommend you.
We moved onto piano piano for last few drinks and laughs!
Again i have to say the lunch club now is probably at its best with decent members out for a laugh and company! Plus we have had some fantastic new people and restaurants over the past few weeks so all the effort of maintaining the club for nearly six years is worth its while in gold!
