Great day central! We started the day in Mulligans bar in the centre around 1pm a nice pint of murphys is a rare find in Torremolinos so a great way to start the day!!
The crew was rounded up around 1.30pm and we took a few beers and headed over to Mackays for 2.30pm but!!.. id made a booby! We wasnt booked for our usual 2.30pm we was booked for 2pm sorry carol! Ooopsie! Any way we was presented with our reserved table and the drinks started flowing out and we arranged with tez to split the bills which was no problem! A lunch club winner!!! Before we knew of the roast beef dinners started flowing out!
Its a good job i had nothing to eat in the morning the portions are gigantic! Lovely beef and fresh cooked vegetables plus the best Yorkshire puds ever! It was great i polished it off to the point where i could have fell asleep!! There was no way room for the second course but i changed my mind when i was offered apple crumble and custard!!!
We also had trifle available which was off the scale!! The food and quality are of the scale and the price cant be beat this explains why people say it’s recommended to book at mackays as it does sell out.
The service is the best and a fun place to be very friendly and carol and tez look after you properly!
Definitely a lunch club winner everyone was more than happy!
We moved onto Pub Branigans to finish the day for a few more beers.
