Another fantastic day central this week a double birthday bash for Richard & Dave!

We had some last minute from the original proposed venue so moved to a bit more professional venue!! So we started up in plaza indepencia in 20 canas directly across from the siam thai restaurant at 6.30pm, we was a bit early as we whizzed off to get the cake which we unfortunately dont have photos of as it was rudely whizzed out of hands by outsiders but on the bright side the Torremolinos lunch club crew contributions paid the cake this time and we kindly got a slice 😳

They was a bit crazy about not letting you pay your own drinks and wanted us to pay it all at once but we just wanted to pay our own drinks in different methods which they did with a bit of arm twisting! So be careful if your in a group here take cash and pay as you go.
We headed over the road a stone throw away for 7.30pm for our siam thai reservation and the menus come out and we got some nice nibbles while we waited!

The wine menu has great variety of wines from all regions and good prices, the crianza we got was very good. Highly recommended.

They are very professional at siam thai and just agreed to split the bill with no problems. There was not a long wait till starters started to flow out! And not long after the mains started flowing slightly staggered but they got there in the end and for no pre order and 23 people it was quite a success! I went for the mixed special sizzling curry which was off the scale!

The club is running smooth as a baby and we have fantastic new members, we will always get the rouge joiners that dont fit in with the groups qualities and we just disclude these immediately from future events to avoid any disturbance to our good vibe and group harmony!
A Reminder About Respect & Good Manners
Our Lunch Club is all about meeting people, enjoying good food and having a great time together in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
However, we also expect everyone who joins our events to show basic courtesy and respect towards other members. Pushing in queues, behaving as though you are more important than others, being rude to fellow members, or taking food that has been provided specifically for someone else is simply not acceptable.
We work hard to organise our events and make sure everyone feels included and treated fairly. We will not allow the behaviour of a small minority to spoil the experience for everyone else.
Anyone who behaves in this way will not be invited to future Lunch Club events. We would much rather have a smaller group of friendly, respectful people than allow poor behaviour to affect the enjoyment of our members.
Thank you to the vast majority of our members who always make the Lunch Club the friendly and enjoyable group that it is. ❤️
Happy birthday Richard & Dave we hope you had a fantastic night!
